Pelvic Pain and Painful Sex Treatment in Alpharetta, GA
These are the concerns women are so often told to just live with, or are too embarrassed to raise. Here they're met with privacy, compassion, and treatment that resolves the root cause.
What we treat
Pelvic and perineal pain, vulvodynia, vestibulodynia, pudendal neuralgia
Tailbone pain (coccydynia)
Pain with sex (dyspareunia)
Endometriosis and period pain, from teens to perimenopause
Bladder pain and interstitial cystitis
How we treat it
Myofascial release, visceral-fascial mobilization, scar tissue mobilization, neuromuscular re-education and vagal nerve toning, with trauma-informed care throughout. We also use down-training of the nervous system, lifestyle changes and stress management.
What to expect at your first visit
Everything is explained first and consent is ongoing. Some women choose to have only their hips, abdominals and spine treated, and that is OK too. Any internal work is only ever done if appropriate and with your agreement.
Common questions
Is it awkward?
Most women report they feel relief and hope as they feel validated: it is their pelvic tissues at fault, not just in their head. And there is something we can do for it!
Do I need a referral?
No. Georgia allows direct access to physical therapy. After 3 weeks or 8 sessions, whichever comes first, a referral will need to be in place. We help you get one.
